Part artwork, part highly functioning workhorse, his furniture is aspirational and on-trend. Made from wood carefully harvested from the Stine property in Illinois, selections such as the Sycamore Round (shown here) are chosen from trees that have entered the end of their life cycle. The wood is then hand worked and finished. The organic beauty of this piece melds well with a variety of interior styles and stands as a remarkable showpiece.
Sycamore Round shown here in a Chicago Loft: Dimensions: 32” round x 18” tall.
Below, Stine’s Matthew Bench, which is a low table that can be used as a console, coffee table, or seating is the perfect accent for the mid century modern chair and painting.
Another favorite from Stine’s collection is his giant Strawn Table (below). Made of a 10 foot long piece of live edged Sycamore (which was raised and cared for for years on the Stine farm in Illinois before the tree reached the end of its lifespan), the piece is a showstopper.
For those in search of a rustic look but don't want the commitment of a large table, David Stine’s Pine Cant is both beautiful and striking.
